National Football Team head coach Abdullah Almutairi announced the 23-men squad to face Iraq in an International Friendly followed by FIFA World Cup Qualifiers matches.
Surprisingly, some of the big stars are left out of the squad which includes Bharat Khawas, Ranjit Dhimal, Ravi Paswan. Similarly, players like Amit Tamang, Nishan Khadka, Nitin Thapa, Darshan Gurung, Sesehang Angdembe and Bibek Basnet are left out of the final squad.
Nepali team will play the international friendly against Iraq on May 29. Soon after the completion of the friendly, the team will fly to Kuwait to play the remaining fixtures of AFC Asian Cup and FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Nepal will take on Chinese Taipei on June 3, Jordan on June 7 and Australia on June 11.
