Global T20 League: Sompal Kami could get start today

Nepal’s fast bowling all-rounder Sompal Kami could get his first start in the Global T20 League as his side Winnipeg Hawks is taking on Brampton Wolves today. The match will start from 10:15 pm Nepali Time at Brampton, Canada.

Sompal Kami is yet to make an appearance in any foreign leagues and is expected to be featured today. In the last match against Toronto Nationals, two of the Hawks’ fast bowlers were very expensive. Mohammad Irfan conceded 39 runs in 4 overs with one wicket and the other bowler Ryan Emrit conceded 54 runs with an economy of 13 plus.

As both of them are foreign players, any one of them could be replaced by Nepal’s star Sompal Kami. Kami had just joined the team just the day before their match against Toronto Nationals and he was kept at the bench. Kami joined the squad late as he was on National duty.

Similarly, the other Nepal’s bowler Sandeep Lamichhane is also yet to make an appearance in the league. He is representing Toronto Nationals this time.
