Nepal to play Chinese Taipei on March 25, Australia on March 30

The Asian Football Federation (AFC) has announced the fixtures of the Asian Cup and World Cup qualifier matches that were halted due to Covid-19 pandemic.

The matches were postponed to October-November but later it was forced to be pushed to 2021.

In the revised fixtures, Nepal will host Chinese Taipei on March 25 followed by hosting the Asian powerhouse, Australia on March 30.

Similarly, Nepal will wrap up the qualification round with a match against Jordan on June 7. Nepal’s further journey in the qualification campaign will be decided after this match.

Nepal currently sits at fourth in 5-nations standing with three points from four matches.
