ICC Reschedule CWC League 2 Fixtures; Nepal to play against USA, Oman in March

Nepali cricket team will make a visit to Oman to play the host and America in a 4-matches ODI series as a part of ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.

 The series will be played from March 19 and will last till March 28, 2021.

Numbers of series of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 were halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a media release, the International Cricket Council (ICC) published the revised fixtures of the league on Tuesday.

Previously, Nepal had hosted those two Nations at TU Cricket Ground where Nepal lost both the matches against Oman and defeated USA in both matches.

After the USA-Oman series in Oman, Nepal will then travel to Scotland in July to play tri-series against the host itself and Namibia.

Nepal will host the series at home only in 2022 which will be played between Nepal, UAE and PNG. The series will be played in February. The ICC CWC League 2 will last till 2023.

Nepal currently sits at sixth in the table with four points from 4 matches. Oman is currently leading the table with 16 points from 10 matches followed by USA with 12 points from 12 matches.
