Full member Ireland and Nepal will fight for the 7th place place-off match in the ongoing Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 in Zimbabwe.
Ireland defeated USA in the play off semi-final whereas Nepal overcame their familiar opponent UAE by 3 wickets. In close contend match, Dipendra Singh Airee held the nerve to rescue Nepal from 62/6 to chase down 182 runs.
This will be the first meeting between Nepal and Ireland in an ODI match. It will also be only the third match against a full member nation for Nepal.
The match between Nepal and Ireland will be played at Takasinga Sports Club, Harare and will start from 12:45 pm Nepali time.
