The English Premier League is finally ready to restart from June 17 after more than 3 months of suspension. Premier League, along with all the sporting activities around the word was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
There are total of 92 matches left to play in the Premier League. All the teams except four of them have completed their round 29 matches. Manchester City, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Sheffield United have played 28 matches. Therefore, during the restart those two matches between Manchester City vs. Arsenal and Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United will be completed first to make matches played equal for all the sides.
After the completion of those two matches, total 9 round matches will be left to play for all the teams, which, the Premier League aims to be completed by August 1.
The official restart fixtures is yet to be published by the Premier League as they still seek the UK Government approval for the date. Nevertheless, the government has already given green light for the restart.
