The Hundred draft today

The official draft of The Hundred, a 100 balls cricket tournament in England is scheduled for today.

Each head coach from eight teams will select their team. They get only 100 seconds to decide on each player. Each team will have to select 14 players from 7 rounds with a local player. Each team is allowed to pick up 3 foreign players.

Nepal’s leg spinning sensation Sandeep Lamichhane has been selected for the draft. His fate will be decided today. He has been listed in the category ‘Overseas Reserve Price £100,000’. This category includes the players like Shakib Al Hasan, Muhammad Amir, Trent Boult,  De Kock,  De Kock and many more top cricketers.

  • Birmingham Phoenix (Edgbaston)
  • London Spirit (Lord’s)
  • Manchester Originals (Emirates Old Trafford)
  • Northern Superchargers (Emerald Headingley)
  • Oval Invincibles (Kia Oval)
  • Southern Brave (Ageas Bowl)
  • Trent Rockets (Trent Bridge)
  • Welsh Fire (Sophia Gardens)

  • BBC Radio 5 Live will preview the Draft on Wednesday October 16 at 9pm
